Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Weekly Switch Icons Announced; Wave 1 Now Available

Nintendo has announced that Nintendo Switch Online members can look forward to custom icons of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet being added for the next five weeks, until September 17, 2023. 

Fans must use their Platinum Points to redeem these icons, and currently, week ones’ are available. However, they will only be redeemable until August 15, 2023.

The first part of the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet DLC, The Teal Mask, will launch for Nintendo Switch on September 13, 2023.

Players can anticipate new minigames, Pokémon, and activities to partake in, as well as plenty of new characters.

The Teal Mask will let players visit the land of Kitakami as part of a school trip beyond the Paldea region. In addition, a regularly held festival in the land will be conducted as players try to figure out the truth behind multiple folktales. On the other hand, The Indigo Disk in Winter 2023 will have players study as an exchange student in Blueberry Academy. Cumulatively, over 230 Pokémon will return via both DLCs.

The Teal Mask will feature new Pokémon Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and the new legendary Ogerpon.
