Pokemon Scarlet, Violet, Sword, Shield & Legends: Arceus Soundtracks Launching February 2024 in Japan

The Pokémon Company and Game Freak have announced that the soundtracks for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, Pokemon Sword and Shield, and Pokemon Legends: Arceus will launch in Japan on February 27, 2024.

The Pokemon Sword and Shield soundtrack, comprised of four discs costing ¥3,850, will feature development material, commentary from the staff, and 142 songs, including tracks from the Expansion Pass.

The Pokemon Legends: Arceus soundtrack, comprised of four discs costing ¥3,850, will feature development material, commentary from the staff, and 110 songs.

Lastly, the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet soundtrack, comprised of six discs costing ¥4,950, will feature development material, commentary from the staff, and 208 songs, including tracks from the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC.

There is no word on whether these soundtracks will arrive West.

Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.

This second part of the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC will feature new Pokémon and activities to partake in, as well as plenty of new characters as you travel to Blueberry Academy. In contrast, the Teal Mask lets players visit the land of Kitakami as part of a school trip beyond the Paldea region.

The end of the trailer highlights several bonuses and events, including the New Uniform Set for Blueberry Academy.

The first part of the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet DLC, The Teal Mask, is now available.

In addition, a regularly held festival in the land will be conducted as players try to figure out the truth behind multiple folktales. The DLC will feature new Pokémon Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and the new legendary Ogerpon. There will also be partner Pokémon from previous generations arriving, new battle moves, a new Tera Type, and more.

The second part of the DLC, The Indigo Disk, will launch on December 14, 2023.
