Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Reveal New Hype Up Trailer Prior to Launch; Bonuses & Day-1 Patch
Following yesterday’s trailer announcement for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, said video has been released. This new trailer is not particularly significant, as it merely showcases previously revealed mechanics, characters, and more.
However, two new Pokémon have been unveiled, Great Tusk and Iron Treads. Thanks to the Pokémon fansite Serebii for catching this information. The former appears in Pokémon Scarlet, while the latter appears in Pokémon Violet.

Additionally, there will be a day-one patch, updating the games to versions 1.01, and the file size will be roughly 1 GB. Moreover, if players have saved data from other Pokémon games on the Switch, they will receive different Rotom phone cases.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the titles debuting the franchise’s ninth generation alongside a brand new locale, the Paldea region. Taking inspiration from the last console release, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, players can look forward to exploring an ambitious open world where there is no set story order for gym progression.
