Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet Reveal 3 New Generation-9 Pokémon; Lechonk, Smoliv & Pawmi
Following the second trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the official Pokémon Twitter account has published dedicated posts on three brand new Pokémon, Lechonk, Smoliv, and Pawmi. They’ve all become quickly popular due to their adorable designs.
Lechonk, the Hog Pokémon, has been the star of the show lately, so it probably needs no introduction. Regardless, it’s a Normal-type with Aroma Veil and Gluttony abilities. Additionally, despite its meaty appearance, Lechonk’s body is mainly comprised of muscle due to its consistent hunts for food.
Smoliv, the Olive Pokémon, is a simultaneous Grass/Normal-type and has the Early Bird ability. Further, its nourishment arrives from the fruit on top of its head, which stores nutrients gathered via photosynthesis. As its design would suggest, Smoliv possesses a proclivity toward sunny and dry climates, spending a fair amount of its time sunbathing in said environments.
Pawmi, the Mouse Pokémon, is an Electric-type that boasts the Static and Natural Cure abilities. Moreover, Pawmi’s characteristic and copious fur shelters itself from frigid weather via insulation, though it’s also used to store electricity. Speaking of, this Pokémon’s electric attacks are signaled by it rubbing its cheeks.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are releasing for Nintendo Switch on November 18, 2022.
