Pokémon Rumble Rush Revealed Bringing Series to Smartphones Wordwide

The Pokémon Company International revealed Pokémon Rumble Rush, a new title in the Rumble series, is available now as a free-to-start game for Android users in Australia via Google Play, with an iOS version and full worldwide release coming shortly.

Pokémon Rumble Rush has players assume the role of an adventurer who is tasked with discovering new islands and the Pokémon that inhabit it. It just so happens that exploring is the easiest thing to do when hordes of enemy Pokémon stand in the player’s way.

During gameplay, players will need to tap the screen to call on their partner Pokémon who will rush in and attack. During these encounters, it’s likely that the enemy Pokémon will befriend the players and join the party. Each island visited has a Super Boss that, if defeated, gives players a chance to power up their Pokémon even further.

Pokémon Rumble Rush features a wide variety of Pokémon for the players to discover. The more users there are in the game, the more Pokémon will be available during special events. This includes Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.

While exploring towns, players will be able to use a hint function and view the Pokémon in the area. Players can also view a map of the island that can reveal hot air balloons passing that, if tapped, will take them to a stage completed by a player with new Pokémon in it.
