Pokémon Path to the Peak Animated Series Premiering This Week

During the Pokémon Presents live stream today, Pokémon International Senior Director Andy Gose spent some time discussing  Pokémon Path to the Peak. This animated series seems to not take place inside the Pokemon Universe but instead in our own and will focus on how Pokemon can bring people together even when they aren’t directly affecting the world.

“… [It] tells the story of Ava, who strives to enter the world of competitive Pokémon Trading Card Game play. She works alongside her family, friends, and partner Pokémon, Oddish, to rise to the very top!”

The first episode of the animated series will be available globally on the official Pokemon Youtube channel on August 11. There was no clear indication of when the next episode will air just yet. However, this premiere will align with the international championships.
