Pokémon: Paldean Winds Animated Series by WIT STUDIO Announced for September 2023

During the latest Pokémon Presents broadcast, the Pokémon Company announced a new original animated web series, Pokémon: Paldean Winds. It will consist of four episodes and be animated by WIT STUDIO, primarily known for the Attack on Titan anime adaption.

Little was revealed about what to expect from this new brief series, but as its name implies, it will occur within the newest locale of the franchise, Paldea, where Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet take place.

Further, it was revealed that Paldean Winds will be entirely free to view, with episodes scheduled to premiere on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.

The first part of the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet DLC, The Teal Mask, will launch for Nintendo Switch on September 13, 2023.

Players can anticipate new minigames, Pokémon, and activities to partake in, as well as plenty of new characters.

The Teal Mask will let players visit the land of Kitakami as part of a school trip beyond the Paldea region. In addition, a regularly held festival in the land will be conducted as players try to figure out the truth behind multiple folktales. On the other hand, The Indigo Disk in Winter 2023 will have players study as an exchange student in Blueberry Academy. Cumulatively, over 230 Pokémon will return via both DLCs.

The Teal Mask will feature new Pokémon Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and the new legendary Ogerpon.
