Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX Shows Mission Gameplay in New Video

Nintendo released new gameplay from The Pokémon Company and Spike Chunsoft-developed dungeon crawler Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, coming to Nintendo Switch on March 6.

The video highlights gameplay between Pickachu and Makuhita as they head out on a mission. The video details how the Makuhita Dojo was built to support the rescue teams. During Mukuhit’s quests to train other Pokemon, the video details the tough Pokemon’s resolve.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX puts players in the role of a Pokémon. During gameplay, players will meet and recruit Pokémon as they journey throughout the world. Building up teams of Pokémon allows players to travel deeper into dangerous dungeons and, eventually, make the world a safer place.

Additional features include building camps that players will need to manage. These camps will allow the player to train and manage their team as well as delegate jobs to Pokémon. Players can also use the Auto-mode and a speed-up option during gameplay to get through dungeons faster.

The dungeons in the game are procedurally generated and change each time you enter. Gameplay and battles require some strategy as each Pokémon has strengths and weaknesses. This version of the game also features watercolor-inspired graphics.

Additionally, the game received a brand new trailer highlighting gameplay.
