Pokémon Masters Adds New Pokémon and Trainers in Latest Update
DeNA has launched a new update for their mobile adventure game, Pokémon Masters, available now on Android and iOS.
After the update, players can pair with Solgaleo, the Legendary Pokémon discovered in the Alola region. Solgaleo is the second Legendary Pokémon to be included in Pokémon Masters, joining Mewtwo after a limited-time event.
Additionally, players can customize even more as players can now be paired with Solgaleo, Torchic, or Pikachu as their partner Pokémon. There is also a new in-game event, The Beast That Devours The Sun, available until January 21. During the event, players can earn special items and required to unlock the level cap and learn new moves for Solgaleo.
The developer has also added new Dragon-type sync pairs to the game. Lance, from Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, is available with his Dragonite, and Synthia, from Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl, has been added with Garchomp. Players will need to play through the story event titles “Two Champions” to learn more.
Pokémon Masters features a Cooperative Mode that has two players join together from around the world to battle against AI opponents. Players will need to work together to unleash unity attacks, which is a special coordinated attack from all three sync pairs.
