Pokémon Legends: Z-A Announced for 2025

During the February 2024 Pokémon Presents broadcast, Nintendo, Game Freak, and The Pokémon Company announced Pokémon Legends: Z-A, set to be released worldwide for Nintendo Switch simultaneously in 2025.

The announcement trailer was vague and not explicit in its details, with there being an urban development plan in place for Lumiose City, which is part of the Kalos region, otherwise known as the sixth generation of the franchise. A return to Kalos likely wasn’t in many people’s cards, so this notion is somewhat exciting.

According to Serebii, Pokémon Legends: Z-A will feature the return of Mega Evolution. We’ll keep you all updated on this incoming title.

A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is under way to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon.

The previous Pokémon Legends entry was Pokémon Legends Arceus, a prequel to generation four in Sinnoh.
