Pokémon Legends: Arceus Shares 6-Minute Trailer Showcasing Various Facets Of Gameplay

Nintendo Japan has shared a brand new trailer for the soon-to-be-released, highly anticipated Pokémon Legends: Arceus, depicting around roughly 6 minutes of gameplay footage. Fans can briefly peruse the crafting system, battles against opposing Pokémon, and exploration. Further, the hub town is more closely highlighted, with the various NPCs and facilities players will be able to interact with at their leisure.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is releasing for Nintendo Switch on January 28, 2022.

Between its reveals and the fresh new components of the battle system, some bold steps are being transparently taken here. While I wasn’t sold on this title during its initial reveal, this newly revealed footage is undoubtedly amping up the hype.

The sheer premise of a Pokémon title being set this far in the past is enticing enough, and I hope that the game’s execution embraces its contextual strengths well. Based on its trailers, that certainly seems to be the case, but we will merely have to wait and see how every game design aspect coalesces.
