Pokémon Horizons: The Series English Dub Reveals 11-Minute Sneak Peek & New Trailer
The Pokémon Company has published an eleven-minute sneak peek for the upcoming first English dubbed episode of the new Pokémon anime series, Pokémon Horizons: The Series. There is still no precise date for when the English dub will premiere proper.
With Ash finally moving on as the anime’s protagonist, two new characters will now take on that multi-faceted role; Liko and Roy. The former is described as the “girl with the awe-inspiring pendant,” while the latter is the “boy with the mysterious Poké Ball.” Other new characters include Friede and Captain Pikachu.
- For those who missed this news, it was initially announced in the December of 2022 with a teaser trailer.

Some voice actors for the English dub were also revealed:

- Kira Buckland – Sprigatito
- Anjali Kunapaneni – Roy
- Alejandra Reynoso – Liko
- Daman Mills – Amethio and Quaxly
- Lisa Ortiz – Oshawott
- Xanthe Huynh – Ann
- Zeno Robinson – Fuecoco
The company also announced that the final episodes of Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series will be available on Netflix on September 8, 2023. This will comprise the final episodes of Ash being the protagonist, occurring after the World Coronation series.

During the latest Nintendo Direct, we were graced with a brand new trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet & Pokémon Violet Treasure of Area Zero DLC.
Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are available for Nintendo Switch.
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will launch across two parts throughout this year. The first part is The Teal Mask launching in the Fall of 2023, and the second part is The Indigo Disk, which will launch in the Winter of 2023.
The Teal Mask will let players visit the land of Kitakami as part of a school trip beyond the Paldea region. In addition, a regularly held festival in the land will be conducted as players try to figure out the truth behind multiple folktales. On the other hand, The Indigo Disk will have players study as an exchange student in Blueberry Academy. Cumulatively, over 230 Pokémon will return via both DLCs.
The Teal Mask will feature new Pokémon Okidogi, Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and the new legendary Ogerpon.
