‘Pokémon: Hisuian Snow’ Anime First Episode Airing Next Month; 3 Episodes Confirmed & Story Details
The official Twitter account for the Pokémon franchise has announced that the previously confirmed online anime for the series’ recently introduced Hisui region is titled Pokémon: Hisuian Snow. It will also be produced by WIT STUDIO and spread across 3 episodes. Further, the first episode will be airing via the official Pokémon Youtube channel on May 18, 2022.
A brief summation of the anime’s premise was provided via the official Pokémon website, viewable below:
Pokémon: Hisuian Snow tells the story of a boy named Alec and his encounter with a Hisuian Zorua. When he was younger, Alec’s father taught him that people and Pokémon cannot live together. But Alec’s interactions with the Zorua might offer a different lesson.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus represents a long since necessary new step for the Pokémon franchise at large, ditching the mainline formula for an entirely new gameplay loop that has been met with general praise from fans and critics alike. More freeform exploration and the drastically fresh setting aid in that freshness as it feels like the series has finally taken a step forward for the first time in what feels like eons.
The Hisui region houses various distinct biomes, from harsh tundra to warm, welcoming fields. In addition, the hub village, crafting, and more facets give players further reasons to sink their teeth into all of the exploratory gameplay mechanics.
