Action Shooter ‘Poison Control’ Shows Off Battle System in New Trailer
NIS America released a new trailer for the Nippon Ichi Software-developed third-person action shooter Poison Control coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on April 13 in North America and April 16 in Europe.
The trailer highlights the game’s unique battle systems and other gameplay elements. Players control their character along with Poisonette, two souls within the same body who take turns controlling the body to purify Belle’s Hells. This is done by encircling poison mires, shooting poison bullets at enemies, and earning stickers after successfully purging the environment to get to Heaven. Additionally, playing can get closer to Poisonette through bonding scenes.
Poison Control deals with various poisons that play a role in the main narrative of the game. Players will explore environments and collect poison to clear it out and use it as ammo to take down enemies. During gameplay, players will explore the inner emotions and find out how they were brought to despair.
Through the gameplay, we were able to see something environments from an early build of the game and some of the characters that players can interact with. The game follows Poisonetter and her amnesiac Soul Mate as they fight to purify the mysterious phenomenon causing the spirit to become trapped with poisonous manifestations.
