Third-Person Adventure Shooter ‘Poison Control’ Coming West for PS4 and Switch

NIS America announced they will publish the Nippon Ichi Software-developed third-person action shooter Poison Control on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in early 2021.

Poison Control deals with various poisons that play a role in the main narrative of the game. Players will explore environments and collect poison to clear it out and use it as ammo to take down enemies. During gameplay, players will explore the inner emotions of a character and find out how they were brought to despair.

There are items and events that players can encounter while exploring the hellish levels, which will allow characters to become more level headed when found. When players finish a level, they’ll have access to new weapons and poisons to get stronger and grow your arsenal. The gameplay is action-focused featuring a third-person shooter battle system where players can dodge enemies and shoot poisons to survive.

Through the gameplay, we were able to see something environments from an early build of the game as well as some of the characters that players can interact with. The game follows Poisonetter and her amnesiac Soul Mate as they fight to purify the mysterious phenomenon causing the spirit to become trapped with poisonous manifestations.
