PlayStation Plus Announces July 2023 Monthly Games
Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games that all subscribers can anticipate joining the ever-growing catalog on July 4, 2023. The three soon-to-be-available titles are listed below:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Cross-Gen Bundle | PS4, PS5
- Alan Wake Remastered | PS4, PS5
- Endling – Extinction is Forever | PS4, PS5
Those three games will be redeemable until July 31, 2023. Additionally, subscribers have until July 3, 2023, to redeem the following titles for their catalog:
- NBA 2K23
- Jurassic World Evolution 2
- Trek to Yomi
Alan Wake 2 will launch digital-only for PC on the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 17, 2023.
The original Alan Wake was initially conceived as an Xbox-exclusive title, aiming to capture the magic of episodic thriller narratives mixed with supernatural beasts. This led to a series that expanded into the Remedy Connected Universe, a continuity that squarely places each title Remedy has created into the same universe.
This led to Control explaining the more fantastical elements of the universe, eventually even having the titular writer appear in the Control‘s AWE Downloadable Content, or as fans call it, the Alan Wake Expansion.
