PlayStation Plus Starts Off Strong in the New Year by Offering Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Axiom Verge 2, and Fallout 76

Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the PlayStation Plus lineup for January 2023, which includes a handful of notable and even not-so-notable titles. All three titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium members on Tuesday, January 3. The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium lineups for January will be announced soon.

Here are the games available:

Those who have yet to play Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order should take this chance before the sequel Star Wars Jedi: Survivor releases. The story follows Cal Kestis, a Jedi in hiding following the takeover of the empire. The game takes place after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Senator Palpatine’s deadly Order 66.

On the other hand, you have Fallout 76, which is plagued with issues, but there are definitely some die-hard fans still keeping it alive. Players can explore, go on missions, build bases, and hang out with other Vault Dwellers. I guess that sounds cool.

Axiom Verge 2 was developed by one man and features Metroidvania exploration. The story is set in the same universe as the first title, but we get to see more of this world and learn a bit more about the high-tech civilization.

Currently, you can still download December’s Monthly Games: Divine Knockout: Founder’s Edition, Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and Biomutant.

We’ll keep you updated on more free game announcements.
