Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for August 2026, led by Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors, and Hell is Us.

Helldivers 2 joins PlayStation Plus Extra for PlayStation 5 on August 12 worldwide, alongside a new game update. Most of the remaining additions will become available on August 18, while Hell is Us, Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2 arrive on August 25 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers are also getting two older releases this month: Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Games for August 2026

    Helldivers 2 | PS5

    Helldivers II 1

Arrowhead Game Studios’ cooperative third-person shooter Helldivers 2 joins the Game Catalog on August 12.

Players deploy as Helldivers fighting on behalf of Super Earth across large-scale missions against alien forces. Squads support up to four players, while friendly fire remains active throughout combat and makes coordination an important part of each mission.

Its PlayStation Plus arrival also coincides with the release of a new game update.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II | PS5

    Kingdom Come Deliverance II

Warhorse Studios’ historical action RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is also part of August’s lineup.

The sequel once again follows Henry of Skalitz as he becomes caught up in political conflict, revenge, and civil war in 15th-century Bohemia. Players can explore cities, forests, settlements, and other locations while taking part in melee combat, quests, and role-playing systems shaped by Henry’s actions.

    Vampire Survivors | PS5, PS4

    vampire survivors

Poncle’s rogue-lite survival game Vampire Survivors is coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 through the Game Catalog.

Players enter increasingly crowded encounters where attacks fire automatically while enemy numbers continue to rise. Progress comes from selecting weapons, upgrades, and passive abilities during each run as players attempt to survive for as long as possible.

    Hell is Us | PS5

    Hell is Us

Third-person action-adventure game Hell is Us joins PlayStation Plus on August 25 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

Players take control of Rémi, a United Nations peacekeeper who goes absent without leave and enters an isolated country in search of his missing parents. The game combines melee combat with exploration across semi-open areas as Rémi investigates his past and a mysterious calamity connected to hostile creatures known as chimaeras.

Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash | PS4

    UmaMusume Pretty Derby 1

Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash will be added for PlayStation 4 on August 25 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

The pixel-art party game features teams of Umamusume competing in the Slapdash Grand Prix, a school festival built around four events: Hurtling Hurdles, Blazing Baskets, Dodgeball Demolition, and Gourmet Gauntlet.

Four teams of five characters compete across the events, with players selecting an Umamusume from their team for each competition.

    Two Point Museum | PS5

Management simulation game Two Point Museum joins the PlayStation 5 catalog on August 25 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

Players take the role of a museum curator responsible for designing exhibits, managing staff, and expanding the museum. Experts can also be sent on expeditions to retrieve artifacts that can later be placed on display.

The game follows Two Point Studios’ previous management releases, including Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus.

    Metro Exodus | PS5, PS4

4A Games’ post-apocalyptic first-person shooter Metro Exodus will be available on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 beginning August 25 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan.

The game follows Artyom and a group of survivors who leave the ruins of Moscow aboard the Aurora locomotive. Combat, stealth, survival systems, and exploration are spread across several large nonlinear areas as the story progresses through multiple seasons.

    Dying Light 2 | PS5, PS4

Techland’s Dying Light 2 also arrives on August 25 in the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Players control Aiden Caldwell as he searches for answers about his past in a city divided by rival factions and overrun by infected humans. The action RPG focuses heavily on parkour-based traversal, melee combat, crafting, character upgrades, and decisions that can affect factions and parts of the story.

PlayStation Plus Premium Classics for August 2026

    Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams | PS5, PS4

    onimusha dawn of dreams

Capcom’s Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams is joining the PlayStation Plus Premium classics catalog on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2006, the action game follows Soki, the Oni of the Ash, as he and his allies fight the Genma in feudal Japan. The story takes place after Toyotomi Hideyoshi rises to power and begins gathering mysterious cherry trees from across the country.

Dawn of Dreams served as the fourth main entry in the Onimusha series.

    Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire | PS5, PS4

Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire is also coming to PlayStation Plus Premium for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Originally released for the first PlayStation, the game follows Milo Thatch and an expedition searching for the lost city of Atlantis, adapting characters and locations from Disney’s 2001 animated film.

The PlayStation Plus version includes up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filter options.

Helldivers 2 is available through PlayStation Plus Extra beginning August 12, while the broader August Game Catalog update starts rolling out on August 18.
