PlayStation Announces Midnight Black Pulse 3D Wireless Headset; Releasing Late October
PlayStation has announced a new coloration of their Pulse 3D Wireless Headset, dubbed Midnight Black. This new headset color was made to match the DualSense Midnight Black wireless controller that received an official release earlier this year.
In today’s new PlayStation 5 System Software update, a new audio equalizer control feature will be added to the console’s sound settings. These settings can also be adjusted in the midst of a game by utilizing the control center menu. Additionally, 3 pre-set audio modes will be available too; Standard, Bass Boost, and Shooter, to make the specifics of audio approachability less overwhelming. Further, users will be able to save their own pre-set audio preferences, with up to 3 being saveable.
The Midnight Black Pulse 3D Wireless Headset is releasing on October 22, 2021, for $99.99. Due to expected high demand, only 1 of these headsets will be shippable to a household. You can pre-order this headset on the official PlayStation website.
On a personal note, I am considering picking this up. I’ve been yearning for a new headset for a while, and this new coloration is far more appealing to me than the currently available one.
