Capcom has announced that you’ll be able to play Monster Hunter Rise for free from March 11 to March 17, so long as you’re a Nintendo Switch Online subscriber. If you end up deciding to buy the full game following this trial period, your save data will, in fact, carry over.
In addition to this, a digital showcase for the upcoming Sunbreak expansion will be taking place on March 15 at 7 AM PT/10 AM ET. The expansion is set to release this Summer, and while not too much has been revealed about it, it’s set to have a new base of operations and all sorts of new and challenging content for players to experience.
Capcom also released a recap trailer that sums up all the different content and crossovers that Monster Hunter Rise includes. These range from collaborations with Monster Hunter Stories 2 to Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man.
