Puzzle Platformer ‘Planet of Lana’ Gets May Release Date; Day One Xbox Game Pass

Thunderful Publishing announced that the Wishfully Studios-developed puzzle adventure, Planet of Lana, coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on May 23, 2023. The game will be available via Xbox Game Pass on launch day.

During gameplay, players will need to master some companion mechanics as they progress through levels by solving environmental puzzles controlling Lana and her cat-like companion Mui. Many of these obstacles are designed to kill Lana, so it’s best to proceed through the game with caution.

Further, the publisher released a new trailer highlighting gameplay and revealing the newly announced release date.

Planet of Lana tells the story of Lana and her loyal companion, Mui, as they embark on a mission to save her sister on an alien planet. A stunning world made with hand-drawn artwork, parallax layering, and subtle use of 3D graphics awaits as you experience the story. Platform, solve puzzles, stealth, and a companion mechanic all tie together to craft unique storytelling and gameplay experiences.
