Exosuit MMO Shooter ‘Plan 8’ Gets New Details and Screenshots

Pearl Abyss released new details and screenshots for their exosuit MMO shooter, Plan 8, platforms or release date were not revealed.

The developer is aiming for this to be a next-generation shooter that combines the best elements of the MMO genre to create a new experience for shooter fans. The game will feature an open-world with various critical points of exploration.

During gameplay, players will utilize an exosuit, which is a robotic device that offers players special abilities. Throughout missions, players will find and equip different gears to the exosuit to provide new ways of play. Each exosuit has its own unique skills, some of which can counter each other. This means that strategy is crucial, and each suit has their advantages and disadvantages. Exosuits can also be used to traverse the world, such as using an exosuit with enhanced arms to climb up and down walls or enhanced legs to jump over objects.

Firearms can also be enhanced and modified. There is an in-depth customization feature in the works to give players the freedom they need to get the most out of the systems.

Plan 8 is being developed by Minh Le as  Technical Advisor and Seungki Lee as Lead Producer. For those who don’t know, Minh Le is known for being the co-creator of the Counter-Strike series. Bringing his knowledge of creating shooters, the team hopes adds to the game’s appeal and making it an overall better game. Seungki Lee is the former environment art director of Black Desert Online and Black Desert Mobile.
