PixelJunk Monsters 2 Gets New Patch Adding Online Multiplayer Improvements and More
Spike Chunsoft announced that the Q-Games developed tower defense game PixelJunk Monsters 2 has gone live with a new update.
Patch 1.04 adds a variety of new improvements to the game including new language support for French, Italian, Spanish, and German. Additionally, the online multiplayer has been updated to give the player the ability to play another stage with the same team without having to rematch as well as new menus to get more direct access to open games.
Also, players can now enjoy the weekly stage Tuesday through Sunday every week and the Mana, Ice, and Missile tower are now slightly more efficient.
PixelJunk Monsters 2 is a tower defense game that allows players to play through various modes across single player and multiplayer sessions. Players will create towers made to put a stop to hordes of enemies marching towards their base. In this iteration, players are able to customize their Tikiman with new masks and shell styles.
PixelJunk Monsters 2 is available now on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam.
Author’s take: I’m always down for patches and I’m glad to see the developer continue to support this game post-launch. If you’re a fan of tower defence games, you can’t go wrong with PixelJunk Monsters 2
