This time, every challenge pulls from SNK’s arcade and NeoGeo legacy, offering pixel solutions inspired by 50 iconic titles. That includes The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, Metal Slug, Beast Busters, and more.

An Iconic Collaboration Pick

Since the Nintendo Switch launched, Jupiter has released over 15 Picross titles, including collaborations with anime franchises like Overlord, Kemono Friends, Doraemon, and The Rising of the Shield Hero. In 2024, the studio partnered with Namco on Picross S Namco Legendary Edition, followed more recently by themed releases tied to Capcom and SNK.

In these collaborations, classic key art from each company’s catalog appears as puzzle backgrounds, while the solutions themselves form pixel art based on recognizable characters and objects. Picross S SNK Classics ＆ NeoGeo Edition continues that approach, featuring fighters and icons from games like Garou: Mark of the Wolves, The King of Fighters ’94, ’97, 2000, and 2003, Samurai Shodown V Special, and several others.
