Rocket Panda Games released a new gameplay video for Phantom Breaker: Omnia, an updated version of Phantom Breaker: Extra, to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in 2021.

The trailer highlights Waka and Sophia in a full battle that shows off the games fighting systems and mechanics. Additionally, players get to preview Waka’s Phantom Breaker attack, Zessou Ryu-baka-jin.

Also, the producer, Sakari “P,” has been sharing notes about the development process with the first episode focused on the history and how the team is approaching this entry.

Phantom Breaker: Omnia will be the first entry in the series to release in the west since 2013 and includes all of the characters and guest characters from Phantom Breaker: Extra along with two brand new characters who are yet to be revealed. The game has three different fighting styles, Quick, Hard, and Omnia, which changes the character’s speed, power, and mechanics.

The developer has also shared that the game has been completely rebalanced and overhauled with a more accessible button layout. There will also be English and Japanese voice-over options, along with local and online modes.

Limited Run Games will release a physical version on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
