Phantasy Star Online 2 Shows Off NieR: Automata Collaboration in New Trailer Coming Later This Week
Sega announced a new collaboration between their MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2 and the Square Enix-developed action game NieR: Automata, launching on October 14.
The collaboration will allow players the chance to re-skin their character in 2B, 9S, and A2 attire as they fight their way through missions. Additionally, players will have access to a new Resistance Sticker, Pod 042, various YoRHa 2B accessory, including the hairstyle, hairband, and eye covering. Additionally, weapons will appear, such as the Virtuous Contract/Beastlord and Type-3 Fists/Type-3 Sword.
The event begins on October 14 through November 11, with more details found on the website.
During Phantasy Star Online 2 Episode 4, players awaken from a long sleep, and they find out that an enemy known as The Phantom has appeared, who are essentially fake ARKS members. If that wasn’t hard enough to wake up to, the dimension of Earth has been discovered.
The real ARK members will now be able to unlock a new level cap and explore new locations, Tokyo and Las Vegas, as they continue their adventure to solve the mystery of the black shadow and purge the planet of these fierce enemies.
Phantasy Star Online 2 is available now on Xbox One and PC-via the Microsoft Store and Steam.
