Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth Gets Western 3DS Release Date; No English Dub

Atlus announced that Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth will be coming west on Nintendo 3DS on June 4-via IGN.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth is a crossover title that brings cast member from Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5 and puts them in a story that involves exploring dungeons and fighting off monsters. Created with the help of Etrian Odyssey developers, this game mainly focuses on the cast of Persona 5 trapped inside of a theater where they must escape. Each dungeon features a new theme and film genre for full of references that fans of the medium should recognize.

Additionally, the game will launch with a limited edition for $69.99, containing:

  • 5” Koromaru plush toy
  • Artbook
  • Four buttons (one for each protagonist)
  • Playing cards featuring characters from each game

IGN also released the future trailer, which features on the Japanese audio, from what we know now there will be no English dub for this game.

Author’s take: While it’s strange that there isn’t an English dub, this could very well by Atlus’ last 3DS title released in North America so it’s pretty exciting. I really enjoyed the first game, but I’m afraid that the Q series doesn’t have as big of an audience as the mainline entries. However, that’s fine with me, but I want the series to continue.
