Persona Q2 Rated by Australian Classification Board for English Release

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth came out in Japan in late November last year and we hadn’t heard anything since. Thanks to how late in the 3DS lifespan the title was released, more than a few fans have been a bit concerned the game wouldn’t see the light of day in the west. At least, until now.

For those over here worried about the lack of news can rest easy thanks to the Australian classification board, of all things. The board handed the title an ‘M’ (Mature) rating, advising that the title is best suited to players over 15 years but not restricted from a younger audience.

Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth is a first-person dungeon crawler that functions as a crossover title between the three Atlus titles Persona 3, Persona 4, and Persona 5. As opposed to the previous entry, Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth (a crossover between Persona 3 and Persona 4), Persona Q2 will be focusing on the Persona 5 cast meeting the others and solving the mysteries contained within a bizarre cinema.

You can watch the opening video or the debut trailer here showing the characters in the game.

Author’s Take: Let’s hope the release date comes soon. I’ve been super pumped about this from the word go. The game seems to be a large improvement on the original title so far so I can hardly wait!
