Atlus has announced that Persona 6 will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 alongside the previously confirmed PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions. No release date is known.
Persona 6 will feature a new standalone story and cast while retaining the series’ structure of everyday life alongside supernatural events. Players will attend school, build friendships, pursue romantic relationships, and spend time with other characters while investigating incidents across Japan.
Urban legends, unusual rumors, and occult incidents will factor into the story. The protagonist and their allies can awaken Personas, manifestations of their inner selves.
Relationships will once again tie into character progression. Developing bonds with other characters makes the protagonist stronger, continuing a major element of previous numbered Persona games.
