Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers Gets New Cinematic Gameplay Trailer and Japanese Release Date

Atlus has debuted the debut trailer for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers, coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 20, 2020 in Japan.

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is a collaboration between Atlus and developer Omega Force. The game features RPG and Musou elements found in games like the Dynasty Warriors series. However, when it comes to Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers it seems that the developer will focus heavily on the characters and world-building as players will be able to interact with the other members of the phantom thieves.

The trailer that debuted shows how players will be able to explore the world and fight against waves of enemies. Heading out into the world also means that players will need to complete a series of missions given to them. Players will also be able to bring companions into battles with them that offer their own spiritual abilities to make the character’s attack combos even longer. Enemies in the game will have weaknesses to certain attacks as well that will make encounters easier.

Currently, there isn’t a release date, but Persona 5 Royal will be heading west and we can only assume that Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will receive a release date in the west soon.
