Persona 5 Royal Sells 1 Million Units Across New Platforms; More Sales Figures
Atlus has announced that the release of Persona 5 Royal across new platforms has sold over one million units worldwide. These sales comprise PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Windows and Steam, not PlayStation 4. When counting the PlayStation 4 version, over 3.3 million units have been sold.
Additionally, the Persona 5 series, which includes Dancing in Starlight and Strikers, has sold over 8.3 million units worldwide. Lastly, the Persona franchise as a whole has sold over 16.8 million units worldwide.

Persona 5 Royal is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Windows and Steam on October 21, 2022. There is no planned upgrade path to PlayStation 5 for PlayStation 4 users.
Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden are also launching for modern platforms on January 13, 2023. The former is not available on any contemporary platforms, while the latter is currently only available on PC via Steam.
