Enhanced Version of Persona 5 ‘Persona 5 Royal’ Coming West to PS4 in 2020; First Details
Atlus announced that the upcoming enhanced version of their JRPG Persona 5 Royal will be coming west to PlayStation 4 in 2020.
This announcement comes at the heels of their Persona Super Live P-Sound 2019 concert in Tokyo, where the game was teased. Persona 5 Royal expand on the world of Persona 5 and introduces new characters, gameplay features, and new elements to the character’s personal lives. This includes new trials and tribulations that the group must fast, whether as students or as the Phantom Thieves. Additionally, Persona 5 Royal will unlock an all-new third semester at Shujin Academy that’s never been seen before.
Persona 5 Royal also received its first teaser trailer in Japanese where players can get a first look at the game’s animation as well as a small taste of the stylish return of these characters.
Persona 5 tells the story of a group of high school students who will steal your heart. Throughout the game, the students discover a world where people aren’t completely themselves and it’s up to the Phantom Thieves to put a stop to it. The game features turn-based combat as well as dungeon exploration all while having to manage the daily lives of these teens.
