Persona 3 Remake Domain Update Suggests Potential Announcement Soon
Following the discovery of the Persona 5 T domain and its recent update implying an upcoming announcement, the soon has occurred to the long-rumored Persona 3 Remake.
Megami Tensei fansite Persona Central has identified that the P3RE.JP has been updated today. Additionally, it has moved from “Onamae to Amazon nameservers, as typically used by Atlus domains.”
These domain updates tend to be indicative of new game announcements in the near future. Persona Central cited Persona Q2, Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight & Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, Catherine: Full Body, and Persona 5 Royalas examples.
We’ll keep you all updated about any significant announcements made. With Summer Games Fest on June 8, 2023, and Xbox Games Showcase on June 11, 2023, it’s certainly possible we may see Persona 3 Remake unveiled. Of course, please don’t hold your breath, but it’s worth being open to the possibility after seeing the aforementioned compelling evidence.
In case you missed it, new footage of the supposed Persona 3 Remake surfaced in April 2023.
If Persona 3 Remake turns out to be real, I’m rather curious to see how it would be handled. Would be narrative remain identical? Would The Answer from FES be included? Would the Persona 3 Portable exclusive content make its way in? And if so, to what extent? There’s plenty to think about regarding this project, but it’s vital to note that it’s not yet confirmed, despite how likely it appears.
