Persona 3 Reload Link Episodes are Missable; Recommended to do ASAP

In an interview with Famitsu, Persona 3 Reload producer Ryota Niitsuma discussed the newly added Link Episodes some more. He revealed that hanging out with the characters as soon as they contact you is recommended because if you miss the first Link Episode period window, you’ll become unable to watch any subsequent ones.

Niitsuma: You can interact with the female party members through Social Links, but we wanted a bigger focus on the male party members, so we added Link Episodes. While you can proceed with a Social Link at any time, Link Episodes trigger as you progress through the main story, and if you spend time with a character during a [Link Episode], the next episode will be available later.*

However, if you miss the first episode period, you will not be able to see the subsequent episodes, so it is recommended that you meet with the character as soon as they contact you.

Translator’s Note: A hypothetical example of what Niitsuma means: Let’s say Junpei’s Link Episode 1 is from June 20 to June 27, and you hang out with him during that period. Afterward, his second Link Episode then becomes available on July 5.

However, if you don’t hang out with him then, and let the date flip to June 28, thus missing that first episode, you will become unable to watch any further Link Episodes from Junpei. Note that these dates are entirely random; it’s just so you can understand what Niitsuma means.

Persona 3 Reload will launch on February 2, 2024, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, and Steam.

Persona 3 Reload is a remake that aims to capture and expand upon the original Persona 3 experience with enhanced gameplay, story, and characters.
