Persona 3 Reload Teases Rollback Feature to “Roll Back” to Previous Save Data

For Tokyo Game Show 2023, Atlus uploaded their media briefing, comprising coverage of multiple titles, including the upcoming Persona 3 Reload. During one particular exchange throughout the gameplay showcase, an Atlus representative teased the new rollback feature.

While it wasn’t detailed, it essentially seems to be a menu where you can roll back, or rewind, to previous save data if you took an action or made a choice you would rather redo.

You can view a translation of the feature below via our team’s Ryuji:

“The thing I’m definitely curious about is this ROLL BACK option. (I see.) I’ve honestly only seen that term being used in online games. (laughs)”

“I see…well, while I cannot show you the feature right now, I can definitely say that this feature is probably easy to understand [by its name alone]. This will allow you to roll back to previously saved data from a little earlier. So if you’re like, “Ahh, oops, I messed up,” and would like to go back to a previous point in your save to redo your choice, you can select that and then rewind.”

“[…] Of course, there is a limit to how much you can roll back. I would love to share more details about this feature in the future.”
