Persona 3 Reload Announces Link Episodes to Give More Focus for Select Characters
During the latest information drop for Persona 3 Reload, Atlus formally announced Link Episodes, which are added sequences that will expand on various characters. While not explicitly stated, it can be understood that this is primarily done to give more deep dives for those characters who do not have Social Links.
Previous information drops highlighted such occurrences with Yukari and many other characters without stating their context. Still, we can now assume most of those instances to be Link Episodes.
The currently unveiled screenshots for this notion showcase Ken and Junpei. This is significant because the male party members in Persona 3, sans the female protagonist’s route in Portable, had no Social Links.

The protagonist finds himself attending Gekkoukan High School, where he quickly becomes acquainted with the Dark Hour and Tartarus.
