These Boys Sure Can Dance in New Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight Pre-Order DLC Trailer
Atlus announced pre-order DLC for their rhythm visual novel Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, coming to PlayStation 4 and digital-only to PlayStation Vita on December 4.
The publisher revealed that the pre-order bonus content for Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight will unlock Shinjiro Aragaki as a playable character with an added final boss theme Battle Hymn of the Soul. Shinjiro first appeared in Persona 3 as a playable character. He has gone through many hardships in life which have given him this tough-guy appearance.
As for Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, players will unlock Goro Akechi as a playable character along with Persona 5’s awakening theme Will Power. Akechi is a detective from Persona 5 and joins the gang after following clues inadvertently left by the Phantom Thieves.
Both characters will available to play as across each game. Meaning that Shinjiro will also be available in Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight and the same for Akechi.
The PlayStation Vita version of each title will have the DLC unlocked for the following 2 weeks after the game launches on PSN.
Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight take players back to each respective universe where they will follow these characters once again over an original story. Additionally, players will take part in rhythm dance sections where they will need tap buttons to the beat of iconic Persona tracks.
Recently the publisher revealed the Endless Night Collection, which comes with both games as well as an art book.
You can watch the new trailer showing these characters below, expect to see some pretty boys showing their moves:
Author’s take: Let me just say that I loved Persona 4: Dancing All Night and can’t wait to spend more time with the cast of each of these games. I know the Persona mainline series gets a lot of love while these spinoffs fall flat, but I am a huge fan of what Atlus does with their IPs. We’ll see how I feel after I get through the story though, my feelings may change.
