Pearl Abyss Increases Western Expansion By Opening New Office and Expanding US Office

Pearly Abyss is breaking out into the world even more today. The South Korean game developer and publisher announce they are opening a new office in Amsterdam and expanding their Los Angeles-based office.

“Pearl Abyss America was established in 2018, and we have continued to expand our team and support our Western players, even in the difficult year we’ve all faced,” said Jeonghee Jin, CEO, Pearl Abyss America. “Our company was founded on the principle of putting the players’ experience first, and our Western expansion is one more way we take the next steps towards remaining committed to the mission.”

Both offices aim to offer support for local publishing within the region. This will make it easier for dedicated live-ops, server infrastructure, community management, customer support, localization, marketing, and public relations services. Each office space includes room for Pearl Abyss’s plans to expand their operations in both regions significantly.

Lybee Park, Vice President at Pearl Abyss Europe, said, “Our European fans are very important to us, and we strongly believe we need to have a physical presence here. With establishing Pearl Abyss Europe, we intend to provide the best possible service to our players and build a team of experts to support the launch of our future lineup.”

Both offices will be responsible for bringing upcoming in-house developed games such as Crimson Desert, DokeV, and PLAN 8 to Western markets.
