Deep Silver has announced that the Starbreeze Studios-developed multiplayer heist game Payday 3 will have an open beta this weekend on PC via Steam from September 8 through September 11, 2023. This forthcoming occurrence is designed to stress test serves ahead of the game’s full launch.
No key will be required to play this beta, which is based on a build from April 2023, meaning what users will experience is not necessarily indicative of what the final product will be in varying respects. Still, it’s free, so if you’ve been wanting to see what Payday 3 will be like, this weekend’s the time to try it out.
This open beta will be comprised of the following:
- The original gang: Dallas, Hoxton, Chains, and Wolf. The iconic clown-masked characters that made the Payday franchise infamous are all playable.
- No rest for the wicked is a Payday 3 bank heist that charges the players with relieving a small bank of the cash cluttering up their vault. It’s their own choice to go stealth without anyone noticing how the cash evaporated or go loud to really experience that NYC robbery feeling.
- All difficulties will be playable, the level cap is Infamy Level 22, and Weapon Level Progression is at eight.
Payday 3 will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Game Pass, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 21, 2023.
