PAX South returns to Alamo City in 2020 to begin a new year of game reveals and hands-on experiences for fans.
From January 17 through 19, PAX South will open its doors once again at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in Alamo City. Tickets for the event will go on sale on August 1. Three-day passes will be available for $90 and Single day passes will be available for $45 apiece. Additionally, kids 12 and younger will be able to pick up a Sunday badge for $10.
“PAX South is when we kick off another year of shows,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, Penny Arcade. “We love visiting San Antonio because nobody can agree on where the best taco place is, or the barbecue, so some days you eat lunch three or four times. Get your badges when they go on sale August 1, and we’ll see you there. Also, Tacos N Salsa has the best tacos. They have a taco called the “Trash Can” and it seems like that wouldn’t be good but it is very good.”
Leading up to the event, developers and publishers attending will reveal their panel line-up along with what they are bringing to the event. This particular event is growing every year, but it a little more intimate than other PAX conventions. However, this just means better interaction with developers from fans.
