Real-Time Tactics Game ‘Partisans 1941’ Reveals Launch Date in New Gameplay Trailer

Daedalic Entertainment announced that the Alter Games-developed real-time tactics game Partisans 1941, will launch on PC-via Steam on October 14.

Currently, the game is in Closed Beta until September 21 so the team can collect player feedback for game balances and adjustments before launch. Players who are interested in playing the game can do so now by signing up for the beta.

Partisans 1941 combines real-time tactics and stealth with squad-based action, and an added dose of base and resource management. Yea, it’s a lot, and the team hopes that players take advantage of each of these systems to get the most out of gameplay.

During the story, war-time prisoner and Red Army commander Alexey Zorin escaped from a Nazi internment camp where he decides to form a guerilla group of partisans to attack the local occupants. Players can require new soldiers and civilians to assist in the operation as each ally takes on an important role in the group, depending on the player’s playstyle.

Missions focus on sabotaging and attacking German supply lines, while players need to manage their resources between missions to upgrade their forces. The game also features stealth tactics systems with options for various approaches to combat.
