Cosen has announced that Panty Party Complete, the chaotic third-person shooter featuring sentient underwear, is heading to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on October 9, 2025. Originally developed by Taiwanese indie team Animu Game, the title first debuted on PC via Steam in 2017, followed by a Nintendo Switch release in 2019. This upcoming release marks the series’ first appearance on PlayStation platforms.
Panty Party Complete comes packed with all previously released content and enhancements, supporting 15 languages including Japanese, English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Norwegian, Finnish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.
Voice acting is provided by a full Japanese cast, adding some extra flair to the already over-the-top experience.
No Hentai, Just High-Energy Panties
Despite what the title might suggest, Panty Party is entirely free of adult content. Instead, it leans hard into absurdist comedy and fast-paced arcade action. Players take control of various talking panties, each with distinct personalities and combat skills, in a quest to stop an evil force from brainwashing humanity into blindly loving panties.
You’ll be dashing, dodging, and diving through cityscapes at high speed—playing as literal underwear. The story follows a high school girl, Yurika, who transforms into a panty and joins forces with other “Warriors of Love” to save both mankind and their own dignity from the villainous Panzi. Yes, it’s exactly as ridiculous as it sounds.
