As stated last week, Epic was going to drop three games for free, all tabletop games by Asmodee Digital. One of them was Pandemic, which is now removed from the freebies and also from the store.
Given that the Coronavirus is spreading across China, along with other parts of the world. We assume this might be the logical reason why Pandemic was removed since it’s a game where you control an elite disease control team preventing a worldwide pandemic. To us, this is a good choice by the platform if only to show respect to those who are affected by this growing epidemic.
Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne are available to redeem right now, and next week’s game will be Kingdom Come: Deliverance. However, that’s not all, Aztez, an indie action beat ‘em up will be free at the same time.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-driven RPG where players work towards avenging the death of their parents. This brings them to fight against invading forces while accepting various quests to progress the narrative. Choices made during the game’s narrative have an effect on the outcome of the adventure.
Remember, Ticket to Ride and Carcassonne are free until February 13.
