Bandai Namco has revealed the whole opening scene for the upcoming Pac-Man World remake, Pac-Man World Re-Pac. Pac-Man’s family is shown to be kidnapped while the protagonist is away, leading to him quickly ending up on a quest to save them. It’s excellently recreated from the original game’s opening, instilling more faith in the quality of the rest of the experience.
This launch has sort of snuck up on most of us, I think, as the game only launches in a few weeks from now.

Pac-Man World Re-Pac is releasing for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on August 26, 2022.
This is a classic and beloved 3D platforming adventure where the iconic Pac-Man courageously entered a new genre so many years ago. Hopefully, this remake is done justice. Players will explore various locales to save his family. Several moves are also available such as the butt-bounce and the rev-roll.
Further, a limited edition is available for pre-order ($119.99), granting a Chogokin Chrome Noir figure and a bonus Chrome Noir Chogoskin cosmetic DLC.
