Overcooked! 2 Releases Trailer Hinting They’ll Be Turning Down the Heat in Free Update

Ghost Town Games and Team17 have teased free DLC content for Overcooked! 2.

The teaser trailer, which can be checked out below, features characters frozen in a block of ice as the camera pans up to unveil a peek at an in-game level. The level shows the possibility of a player falling into the frozen lake, maybe to get frozen for a time before respawning to continue the challenge.

The teaser could be hinting at just a snowy ice level but if it’s anything like first DLC content, Surf n’ Turf the pack will include new kitchens, chefs and environmental elements that added to the challenge.

Overcooked! 2 is a hectic game that is best played with friends, however, it may cause people to argue when they aren’t making burritos correctly. Players will receive orders and prepare food in the zaniest of ways across multiple maps and themes. The menu ranges from items like salads and hamburgers to pasta and fish dishes.

Overcooked! 2 is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and Nintendo Switch.

Author’s Take: I don’t know too much about Overcooked, just that it’s impossible to have a cooperative team because I like to grab the fire extinguisher and spin in circles. But no one can argue with free content so that’s nice.
