Over 2,000 Tales of Songs Joining Streaming Services Worldwide

Bandai Namco has announced via 4Gamer that over 2,000 tracks from the Tales of franchise will join streaming services, namely Spotify, YouTube Music, and iTunes.

Starting today, the following tracks were already added to those services:

  • Tales of Phantasia (SFC, PlayStation, and GBA versions)
  • Tales of Destiny (PS1 & PS2 versions)
  • Tales of Destiny 2

On December 22, songs from the following games will be added:

  • Tales of the Abyss
  • Tales of Vesperia
  • Tales of Hearts
  • Tales of Graces

Tracks from other entries in the franchise will arrive at currently unspecified dates. Further, each song will be classified under the Tales of SOUND TEAM label. Interestingly, this immense number of songs joining these services is due to fan demand after Tales of Arise’s soundtrack became highly listened to on various services.

Tales of Symphonia was initially released for the Gamecube worldwide before receiving a Japanese-exclusive PlayStation 2 version that added more content. That same version would launch worldwide for PlayStation 3 and then eventually PC via Steam. This upcoming remaster is using the latest versions as the basis, though several new features are arriving, such as skippable events and improved maritime navigation.
