Open-World RPG ‘Outward’ Gets PS4, Xbox One, and PC Release Date With New Gameplay Video

Deep Silver announced that the Nine Dots developed open-world survival RPG Outward will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on March 26.

Outward is a fantasy RPG developed to give the player all the responsibility of living in the game’s world, Aurai. Players will be able to be fully immersed in the game’s challenging combat and exploration.

Outwards gives players the ability to exist in this world however they wish, but doing so means they’ll need to worry about eating and drinking as well as tough enemies. The game features local and online multiplayer, with local split-screen. Players will be able to survive together and explore dungeons and other highlighted areas.

Additionally, a new gameplay video was released showing the dangerous world and enemies that players will encounter. Also, the narrator explains how the developers created this game knowing that the player will be able to get the hang of it without them holding their hand.

Author’s take: Man, this game looks difficult, but at the same to interesting. It seems to require a lot of time exploring and checking on your stats. I would like to know if the game is difficult just for the sake of being difficult. If not then I’d like to give it a go.
