Outriders Worldslayer Revealed as “Massive” Upgrade for Base Game Releasing This June

Square Enix announced that the People Can Fly-developed co-op shooter Outriders, will receive an upgrade on June 30, 2022, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and GeForce Now.

Titled Outriders Worldslayer, it was revealed this upgrade to be a 1 – 3 players co-op looter shooter that allows players to play through the original campaign, or use the Level 30 Boost to jump straight into the Worldslayer content with fully upgraded gear.

“We can’t wait for players to experience Worldslayer. In addition to a whole new story, we’ve introduced a number of new features that really expands and improves on everything players loved about the original game,” said Bartek Kmita, Creative Director at People Can Fly. “Worldslayer includes nearly a hundred new legendary items, higher gear level caps, Apocalypse tier difficulty, Apocalypse gear, and new ways to progress your Outrider with the all-new PAX tree and Ascension levels. Not to mention the Trial of Tarya Gratar, a new endgame experience that’s different from anything we’ve done in Outriders before”.

This is mainly for post-game content. A price has not been revealed at this time, so it seems like this is a free upgrade featuring a new campaign, updated features, and new endgame content.
