Outriders Trailer Confirms the Addition of Nvidia DLSS Support on PC

Square Enix announced that the People Can Fly-developed co-op shooter Outriderswill be enhanced using Nvidia DLSS technology to provide PC gamers and GeForce RTX users the best experience possible.

Nvidia DLSS is a deep learning super sampling that utilizes AI technology and learning to create an image that appears to be of a higher-resolution image, without the rendering overhead. Pretty, much, games running at 1440p can appear to run at 4K, and games running at 1080p could look like they are running at 1440p.

Outriders is an RPG shooter set in a sci-fi universe. Players will need to create their own character known as “Outrider” to embark on a journey across a hostile planet. The story takes players through a diverse world where they’ll find themselves exploring slums, forest areas, and mountain ranges in pursuit of a mysterious signal. However, during their travels, they will meet intense combat situations and powerful enemies.

Outriders is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on April 1, 2021.

We’ll be sure to follow the development of Outriders as well as any updates to its Early Access period. For now, you can check out the short trailer that revealed the PC enhancements:
