Outriders Post Campaign Content Revealed

Square Enix have revealed the post campaign content present in the upcoming title, Outriders. The post campaign content is called “Expeditions” and will offer players a series of challenging missions in order to unlock the most powerful equipment in the game.

“Expeditions” will serve to expand upon the narrative of Outriders and are meant to be played with a skilled team. Here is what Bartek Kmita, the Creative Director of Outriders had to say regarding this content:

“Expeditions expand on the story of the OUTRIDERS campaign and features the toughest challenges in the game. They’re meant to be played with a team of skilled and coordinated Outriders. Powerful equipment and efficient character builds, along with true skill and mastery over your class, are necessary to succeed and reach the highest levels of Expeditions.”

Outriders is scheduled for a February 2, 2021 release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and Steam. A Google Stadia release is planned for later in 2021.

Outriders is being developed by People Can Fly who are known for their work on Gears of War: Judgment and Bulletstorm, and Square Enix External Studios who have worked on Sleeping Dogs and Just Cause. This title has had three prior broadcasts which have covered several aspects of the game such as gameplay mechanics and news of its development. This title also features 1-3 players with drop-in-drop-out co-op.
